The major improvement of this new version is the apparition of a new way of browsing web pages. When you first arrive on a page, Opera Mini presents an overview of the entire page. A mouse-like pointer directed with the keypad moves a rectangle area showing the displayed area when in reading mode. You can then scroll in a more common way.
This is very bluffing and gives an impressive user experience. More, I have been able to watch pages that I wouldn't have thought my JVM would be able to show. This is so stunning that I think that Opera Mini uses some kind of proxy in order to present and adapt content to fit on mobile devices.
In definitive, Opera Mini with its full features should be a very robust, efficient and powerful application. I will be definitively waiting for it.
