or do weird things, or sometimes working, sometimes not, don't go asking if WapcamServer is deficient. Actually I am constantly developping new features and for the need of tests, I start and stop my WapcamServer. Unfortunatly this is the same instance as the one serving snaspshots for this blog and the website of the project.

Since I developped some new important improvements, ther will no longer be a 1.4.2 version, but it will raise straight up to 1.5. Version 1.4.2 was an improvement of v.1.4.1 using the new template engine for html pages for every served paged, including remote files sent to an FTP. It finished with integrating Laurent's code on all the pages.
But now, the next version of WapcamServer will deal with a new streaming engine, able to broadcast MJPEG streams over HTTP. That may not ring a bell to you, but in cleat that means that WapcamServer will be able to do streaming over the wole internet, without network issues. This will only work for the webcam though.
To be able to do so, I must have changed some parts of the snapshots delivery program. The program now uses a new encoding engine and no longer uses real files on your hardisk (e.g. shot.jpeg, shot.png).
Eventually the captures may have text with date and time and title
overprinted on it. (I've been requested for so).
Do you have a preferred feature not available yet?
