or do weird things, or sometimes working, sometimes not, don't go asking if WapcamServer is deficient. Actually I am constantly developping new features and for the need of tests, I start and stop my WapcamServer. Unfortunatly this is the same instance as the one serving snaspshots for this blog and the website of the project.

Voici un tutorial qui va vous montrer comment diffuser le contenu de votre webcam sur votre TV à l'aide de Freeplayer et WapcamServer. Il est donc plutôt destiné aux utilisateurs de freebox, mais devrait pouvoir être transposé à d'autres opérateurs fournissant l'équivalent de l'univers Freeplayer.
Pour rappel, l'univers Freeplayer permet à quelqu'un devant sa télévision reliée à une freebox, de profiter du contenu multimedia stocké sur son PC en utilisant le programme Freeplayer, adaptation de l'excellent VLC comme serveur de streaming.

Approaching a final 1.4 version, here is WapcamServer1.4-Bêta.
This version improves:
- GUI: as previously announced, the user interface has been a little
reviewed. I hope it will gain in clarity.
- RTSP Server: files with a weird name are now correctly taken into account
(e.g. with a blank space, '$', '%',....).
- Web Server: added the possibility to ask for a new image (shot) format (PNG
for instance) as well as the possibility to resize snapshots on the fly
- Application: possibility to disable the tray icon when clicking the cross of
the application window.
One major improvement that still has to be finalized is the ability to load JMF
plugins for audio/video codecs. That should be fixed for the final
release.
